Richard V. Zolezzi Prior to joining Catapult Advisors in 2008, Richard spent over ten years as a senior executive in the enterprise software and services industry with SPL WorldGroup, a multi-national company with offices in over fifteen countries. Richard was responsible for SPL's extensive US and international M&A activity. He served as SPL's CEO in 2005 and was SPL's Chief Strategy and Legal Officer at the time of SPL's successful sale to Oracle Corporation in 2006. Richard is a seasoned international executive who is tri-lingual in English, French and Italian. Richard started his career as a Wall Street lawyer with Rogers & Wells in New York where he focused on cross-border M&A, venture capital, and finance transactions. Richard also spent five years at the San Francisco office of Lillick & Charles where as a corporate partner he developed Lillick's high-technology practice and concentrated on M&A, VC and technology licensing transactions. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the French American Chamber of Commerce (San Francisco Chapter) and of Entertainment-Media Venture Partners, a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm. Additionally, Richard is a senior member of the Guardsmen, a San Francisco not-for-profit assisting inner-city kids. Richard holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and a JD degree from the University of California (Hastings).
