EFI strengthens Web2Print, dynamic publishing and cross-media marketing portfolio

PR Log (Press Release) — October 3, 2012 — SAN FRANCISCO, California/Catapult Advisors LLC announced today that it advised Online Print Solutions (OPS) on its sale to Electronics For Imaging (EFI).
OPS, with offices in the US, Australia and Ireland, serves the commercial printing industry. By using OPS’ suite of products, commercial printers are able to offer advanced cloud-based design, publishing and cross-media marketing solutions to their customers. Customers across the globe use OPS suite products to differentiate their services in the highly competitive commercial printing industry
OPS software will become part of EFI’s Productivity Software portfolio. EFI intends to continue to offer both Digital StoreFront(R) and OPS products to the market, and in the near future, integrate key OPS features and technologies supporting cross-media marketing and variable data printing into the EFI Digital StoreFront platform, as well as with EFI MIS software. In addition, EFI plans to combine the two platforms over the coming years so that OPS and Digital StoreFront users will have an easy migration to a platform incorporating the best of both technologies.
