Frisco-based Skywire Software L.L.C., which makes enterprise software and integration applications, has bought Dallas-based software company Attenza Inc. in a cash and stock transaction.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Attenza is a provider of online customer service and support automation software. The company’s customers include Aon Corp., BMC Software Inc., Dell Computer Corp., Gateway Inc. and McKesson Corp.

Skywire on Tuesday said the acquisition expands its product line to include customer service applications consisting of knowledge management, Web self-service, case management and desktop discovery tools.

“The addition of Attenza expands our customer base and broadens Skywire Software’s expertise in the enterprise software marketplace, as well as complements our recent acquisitions and plans for continued growth,” said Patrick Brandt, Skywire’s founder and CEO, in a statement.

Attenza is Skywire’s third acquisition in the past 12 months. The company also has acquired Trycos and Thazar Solutions Corp. The Trycos product line includes integration and enterprisewide applications, while Thazar’s INSsight is a business intelligence software designed for the property and casualty insurance industry.

Attenza, formerly Service911.com, was founded in 1997. Its operations and personnel will relocate to Skywire’s headquarters in Frisco.
